How I can help

Everyday life is
a good place to start.

There is no need to have a ready-made explanation of what feels difficult. We can start with challenging situations at work, in relationships or during time meant for rest.

02 / AUTISM

Space for individual needs
and a personal way of being.

Relationship difficulties, overwhelm and a wish to understand oneself better can all be explored in our sessions. Therapy is guided by each person’s experiences, needs and goals.

03 / ANXIETY DISORDERS

When tension and worry
begin to restrict everyday life.

Persistent worry, avoidance or a sense of threat can be reasons to seek a consultation. Together, we explore situations that trigger anxiety and responses that may keep it going.

04 / DEPRESSIVE DISORDERS

When energy, enjoyment
and a sense of purpose are missing.

Low mood, withdrawal and difficulty managing daily responsibilities deserve attention. In therapy, we explore experiences, thoughts and activities, and identify manageable steps suited to the person’s current capacity.

05 / PERSONALITY DISORDERS

When familiar difficulties
recur in relationships and emotions.

Long-standing patterns of experiencing oneself and others can bring distress and conflict. We work on understanding these patterns, regulating emotions and developing more helpful ways of responding.

My approach

From understanding difficulties
to individually tailored therapy.

I work within a cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT) framework. I select methods and tools with reference to scientific evidence and each patient’s individual needs. I am a member of the Polish Association for Cognitive and Behavioural Therapy (PTTPB).

01 — INITIAL CONSULTATION

Understanding difficulties and needs

We discuss the reasons for seeking help, everyday functioning and expectations of therapy. There is also time for questions and for considering whether the proposed support is appropriate.

02 — CASE FORMULATION

A shared understanding of the problem

We develop a picture of how difficulties arise and persist: how thoughts, emotions, behaviours and experiences connect. This is case formulation — the foundation for setting goals and planning therapy.

03 — INDIVIDUAL THERAPY

Selecting a protocol and techniques

I select a therapeutic protocol and techniques to suit the identified problems, goals and the patient’s capacity. Together, we review progress and adapt our work when needed.

Online and in person

Online therapy.
Active, collaborative work.

I conduct most sessions online and also see patients in person. In remote sessions, I use interactive whiteboards and online questionnaires to support our conversations and organise our shared understanding.

01 / INTERACTIVE WHITEBOARDS

Making patterns visible

Writing down and organising ideas together helps us explore connections and work with them during sessions.

02 / ONLINE QUESTIONNAIRES

An additional perspective

Questionnaires support the assessment of difficulties and tracking of changes. We discuss the results in the context of our conversations and the individual’s circumstances.

03 / SCHEDULING

Appointments that fit daily routines

With no travel required, therapy can be easier to fit into everyday life. Subject to availability, less conventional appointment times may be arranged to suit the patient’s routine.

Before the first session

Questions before a consultation.

Do I need an existing ADHD or autism diagnosis?

An existing diagnosis is not required to book an initial consultation. We discuss the difficulties and consider what further assessment and support may be appropriate.

How should I prepare for an online session?

A quiet, private place and a device with a camera, microphone and stable internet connection are helpful. It may also help to write down important questions or topics beforehand.

Is support limited to ADHD and autism?

These are my main areas of interest. I also work with adults experiencing anxiety disorders, depression and personality disorders. During the consultation, we discuss whether the proposed support meets the person’s needs.

Where can I find fees and available appointments?

Services, fees and booking information are available on my ZnanyLekarz profile. Before booking, please check the type and format of the appointment. For a remote meeting, select an online consultation.
